Red Hook Interact Sponsors Fourth Shelterbox
Members of the Red Hook Rotary High School Interact Service club have raised another $1,000.00 to sponsor their fourth Shelterbox. They are shown here presenting their check to Shelterbox Ambassador and District Governor-elect Lou Turpin.
Shelterbox delivers the essentials people need to begin rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of a disaster. Each ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for a family, thermal blankets and groundsheets, water storage and purification equipment, solar lamps, cooking utensils, a basic tool kit, mosquito nets and a children’s activity pack.
